Bawrut

Bawrut è un produttore e DJ italiano con base a Madrid.

Fortemente influenzato dai pionieri della techno e della house, dai grandi maestri europei e dai nuovi ritmi sincopati provenienti da tutto il mondo, il gusto musicale di Bawrut si muove in un perfetto equilibrio tra classici intramontabili e tracce contemporanee.

Fin dai suoi primi successi, come Ciquita e Rumba, ha ottenuto un forte supporto da artisti come KiNK, Axel Boman ed Erol Alkan, oltre a ricevere riconoscimenti da testate come Mixmag, DJ Mag, Test Pressing e Data Transmission, che lo hanno definito uno dei producer e DJ più freschi della scena.

Diventando resident del leggendario Mondo Disko di Madrid, ha affinato il suo stile attraverso le sue produzioni e “l’arte del warm up” e del “closing set”, condividendo la console con una grande varietà di artisti, dal disco alla techno. Da lì ha iniziato a esibirsi nei club e nei festival più prestigiosi, come Sub Club, fabric, Sónar, Nuits Sonores, c/o Pop, Circoloco, Nitsa e molti altri, portando con sé un approccio unico nel fondere generi diversi in un suono personale e riconoscibile.

Con i suoi EP su Ransom Note, Life and Death e Correspondant, è diventato un vero e proprio “DJ’s producer”, supportato da nomi come Avalon Emerson, Dixon, Sven Väth, Keinemusik, Hunee, Jennifer Cardini, Vladimir Ivkovic e DJ Tennis.

Con il suo primo album, In the Middle, pubblicato su Ransom Note, ha condotto una lunga e dettagliata ricerca sul Mar Mediterraneo e la sua capacità unica di essere, allo stesso tempo, crocevia di culture e teatro di nazionalismi ciechi e xenofobi.

Attraverso l’esplorazione di suoni nuovi e antichi, Bawrut cerca sempre di far ballare le persone al centro: tra la gente, i ritmi e le culture.

Bawrut is a Madrid based, Italian born producer and DJ. 

Heavily influenced by the work of Techno and House pioneers, established European teachers and new syncopated rhythms from all around the world Bawrut’s taste toes a wonderfully balanced line between classics and brand new tracks.

Since the early hits ‘Ciquita’ and ‘Rumba’ he received heavy support from the likes of Kink, Axel Boman and Erol Alkan. Mixmag, DJ Mag, Test Pressing and Data Transmission also proclaimed him as one of the freshest producer and DJ.

Becoming resident at legendary Mondo Disko in Madrid he shaped his taste and style trough his own music and “the art of warm up” + “the closing” sharing the booth with tons of different act from disco to techno. Since then he started to perform in the most famous clubs and festival like Sub Club, fabric, Sonar, Nuites Sonores, c/o Pop, Circoloco, Nitsa and much more sharing his unique approach to different genres combined all together as his personal music outputs.

With his EPs on Ransom Note, Life and Death and Correspondant he became the DJ’s Producer been supported from Avalon Emerson to Dixon, from Sven Vath to Keinemusik,  from Hunee to Jennifer Cardini, from Vladimir Ivkovic to DJ Tennis.

With his first album “In the Middle” released on Ransom Note he did a long a detailed research, sectioned in different layers, of the Mediterrenean Sea and its unique capacity of being a place of different mix of cultures and - in the same time -  a place of senseless nationalism based on a short sight view and xenophobia.

Exploring new and old sounds he always try to make people dance in the middle of people, rhythms and cultures.
