DJ, Produttore, Supervisore e Consulente musicale per Cinema e Teatro

DJ multi-genere, collezionista e appassionato conoscitore di musica a 360°, Max Passante è attivo dal 1982 tra Capri, Napoli, New York e Londra. Oggi promuove eventi di conscious clubbing, conduce serate di Ecstatic Dance e collabora con artisti internazionali. Nel 2025 ha affiancato i Massive Attack come opening act e DJ supporter nel tour italiano.

Ha iniziato la carriera a Capri, alternandosi alle console dei club più esclusivi dell’isola. Dal 1985 al 1990 è ideatore e DJ del Capodanno nella Piazzetta di Capri, il primo evento di Capodanno in spazi pubblici in Italia.

Tra il 1991 e il 2003 apre e gestisce due locali di successo: il Max Cafè a Capri e La Veronica Beach Club a Pozzuoli, uno dei primi spazi italiani a integrare attività olistiche, cucina biologica e musica elettronica.

Nel 1995 avvia, insieme ai Planet Funk, l’esperienza discografica indipendente fondando l’etichetta Bustin’ Loose Recordings. Da Londra contribuisce alla pubblicazione di artisti come Karen Ramirez (Top 5 UK e disco d’oro in Italia), Gaudi, Adam Freeland, The Servant (Dan Black), Hondy e gli stessi Planet Funk.

Collabora con i Massive Attack dal 2003 come DJ supporter ufficiale in numerosi tour internazionali (2003, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2014 e 2025).

Spinto dalla continua ricerca di nuove forme di intrattenimento consapevole, dal 2013 esplora il mondo del Conscious Clubbing e dell’Holistic Entertainment. Con il collettivo B-Transition introduce in Italia pratiche innovative come Yoga Beats di David Sye e la 5Rhythms Dance, per la quale è stato certificato Space Holder (2015–2020).

Nel 2015 importa su licenza Morning Gloryville, format pionieristico degli AM Party e riferimento mondiale del divertimento consapevole. Oggi è promotore e DJ degli eventi Ecstatic Dance e del party mattutino Sunrisers. Vive e lavora a Roma.

A multi-genre DJ, music collector, and passionate all-around music connoisseur, Max Passante has been active since 1982 between Capri, Naples, New York, and London. Today, he promotes conscious clubbing events, hosts Ecstatic Dance nights, and collaborates with international artists. In 2025, he joined Massive Attack as the opening act and DJ supporter during their Italian tour.

He began his career in Capri, playing in the island’s most exclusive clubs. From 1985 to 1990, he was the creator and resident DJ of Capodanno in Piazzetta, the first New Year’s Eve celebration in public spaces in Italy.

Between 1991 and 2003, he opened and managed two successful venues: Max Café in Capri and La Veronica Beach Club in Pozzuoli — one of Italy’s first venues to integrate holistic activities, organic cuisine, and electronic music.

In 1995, together with Planet Funk, he launched an independent music venture by founding Bustin’ Loose Recordings. Operating from London, he helped release artists such as Karen Ramirez (UK Top 5 and Gold Record in Italy), Gaudi, Adam Freeland, The Servant (Dan Black), Hondy, and Planet Funk themselves.

He has been collaborating with Massive Attack since 2003 as their official DJ supporter on several international tours (2003, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2014, and 2025).

Driven by a constant search for new forms of conscious entertainment, since 2013 he has been exploring the world of Conscious Clubbing and Holistic Entertainment. With the B-Transition collective, he introduced pioneering practices in Italy such as Yoga Beats by David Sye and 5Rhythms Dance, for which he was a certified Space Holder (2015–2020).

In 2015, he brought to Italy the licensed format Morning Gloryville, a pioneering AM party and global reference in conscious clubbing. Today, he is a leading promoter and DJ for Ecstatic Dance events and the Sunrisers morning party. He lives and works in Rome.
